We value your privacy. We only collect details required to run demand forecasts, which includes read-only store data (product names, sales quantities, and supplier lead times) that you link through Shopify or upload via CSV files. We never sell your sales data or share it with third parties.

All data syncs are fully encrypted using industry-standard SSL certificates. We do not store credit cards or payment credentials. Your credentials and database connections are stored securely inside our encrypted cloud environment.

3. What are Cookies and How We Use Them

What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a tiny text file saved by your browser on your computer. Think of it as a small reminder note. It does not run code or access your hard drive.

Why does StockPilot use them?

We use cookies for a single purpose: **Authentication**. When you log in, we save a cookie to recognize your browser. Without this cookie, you would be forced to enter your email and password every single time you click a link or refresh the dashboard.

We do **not** use tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies.
